At UNYQ, when we imagine the future of prosthetics and orthotics, we see an industry founded on personalization, digitalization and data integration. That future became more tangible than ever before when our profession met at AOPA last week.
At the event, UNYQ released the first ever app for making prosthetics. The app streamlines the process of fitting patients for a personalized 3D printed prosthetic cover and brings prosthetists closer to the 3D printing and digital manufacturing workflow for prosthetics.
Guiding you through the steps, the app assists the prosthetist in measuring the patient and taking the necessary photos for us to create a 3D model of the patient’s leg and produce their custom protective prosthetic cover.
From there, we apply the design and color choices chosen by your patient and print their cover. UNYQ Hubs can also track their pending orders directly in the app.
The app will be released in the Apple App Store in the coming weeks. Until then, you can request early access by reaching out to us.
