Our prosthetic covers are protective and aesthetic accessories for prosthetic devices that restore the anatomic shape of the patient. At the same time, offering a way to express each unique personality and style with different levels of personalization. Made with the latest 3D printing technologies, our covers are available for the majority of lower limb prosthesis and prosthetic components on the market (transtibial, transfemoral, bilateral, osseointegration, etc).
Our covers are easy to put on and off, enabling a smooth access to prosthetic components, providing a cleaner and more hygienic option than silicone or foam covers. It is also a more sustainable solution, as our manufacturing process is zero waste.
At UNYQ, we offer four types of prosthetic covers to meet the unique needs of our users:
- CustomFit are our signature personalized covers, available for TF and TT prosthesis, that comes in two versions: Firm, for enhanced durability and protection, and Flex, designed for more active lifestyles—both fully customizable in design and anatomy. Each cover is individually designed according to the user's specific anatomy and prosthesis.
- OneFit is our complete solution that covers the entire prosthesis, from the socket to the ankle, providing full protection with a functional joint. Available for TF prosthesis (specific knees).
- QuickFit is a semi-custom option for TF prosthesis, ready to wear in just one fitting, that comes in 2 sizes that can be adjusted in length in the clinic.
- KneeFit offers a specialized cover for the knee joint (TF prosthesis, specific knees) combining protection and a natural look in one piece.
UNYQ covers are easy to identify thanks to the engraved brand logo at the top of every cover, and an individual serial number on the inside. This makes it easy to recognise our product, and simplifies the reordering process.
- Protection: Shields your prosthetic components from daily wear and impact. While the cover itself may be damaged, it protects the internal prosthetic parts, ensuring they remain safe.
- Easy and perfect fit: Our products are designed for a perfect fit, ensuring ease of use and all-day comfort. Easily fitted in just a few seconds, they allow quick access to the prosthetic components.
- Durability: Made with high-quality materials for long-lasting performance.
- Anatomy and style: Enhances anatomy and offers a more natural look, whether it's our standard or custom covers, which provide a wide range of designs and colors to express your individuality.
- Hygiene: Smooth, water-resistant surfaces that are easy to clean and maintain, helping to keep the prosthetic components optimally hygienic.
- Ligthweigth and waterproof: With varying weight depending on the product and the user’s anatomy, our covers remain lightweight and are also water-resistant (this does not make the prosthetic components themselves waterproof).
Our prosthetic covers are waterproof, and can be used in both saltwater and freshwater. Splashes cause no damage to cover. We recommend cleaning the cover with fresh water and thoroughly drying it after use in water to prevent oxidation of metal parts. Note: Please make sure that your prosthetic components are also waterproof, our covers don't protect prosthetic components from water.
UNYQ covers come with a 1 year warranty for material defects when used in moderate-impact activities such as walking, bathing, cycling, golf, and dancing. Please note that damage resulting from situations such as hitting the cover or dropping it on the floor is not covered by this warranty. UNYQ covers are not recommended for use during high-impact sports, and we advise removing the cover when engaging in such activities or if kneeling on a hard surface. Additionally, paint may become damaged if the cover is hit. Painting is excluded from warranty.
For our customized products, each cover is uniquely designed to fit each prosthesis and create symmetry with the sound limb. UNYQ provides a preview of the finished product free of charge; therefore, returns due to shape, design, or volume disagreements after the product has been printed will not be accepted. If you or your patient have special requirements, please contact our Customer Support Team to explore available options.
We highly recommend reviewing our technical guides in the Support & Resources Center for a complete understanding of how our covers integrate with different prostheses. For inquiries regarding repairs outside of the warranty, please reach out to our Customer Support Team for more details.
UNYQ CustomFit Covers are custom-shaped prosthetic covers for lower limb amputees, available for both above (AK/TF) and below the knee (BK/TT) amputees. They offer a new and creative level of protection and personalization for your prosthesis. The end result is a unique, custom-made cover that fits the user perfectly, shows their personality and protects their prosthesis. After printing, each cover is hand polished and painted with a high quality finish to ensure durability. CustomFit covers can be conveniently and easily ordered through your clinic. Only measurements and photos of your lower-limbs are necessary to order.
Flex and Firm are two distinct materials we use to create durable and lightweight covers. Firm is our classic material made from polyamide (PA12), offering both durability and style. In contrast, Flex is crafted from a more rubber-like material (TPU), designed to withstand greater manipulation and flexibility. We recommend Flex for individuals with a more active lifestyle, as it provides enhanced durability.
CustomFit Firm covers are available for both transfemoral and transtibial amputees and are fully customizable. They are made from our signature Firm material and come in over 20 designs and more than 40 colors, available in both matte and glossy finishes. For further personalization, depending on the model you select, it is possible to add an engraving or a vinyl sticker to your cover, as well as an additional knee protector for those who frequently kneel. To ensure an easy and secure fit, we offer a choice of attachments, including magnets & fast-clamp or screws & c-clamp for added security.

CustomFit Flex covers are fully customized to your anatomy, available for both transfemoral and transtibial amputees. They come in more than 10 designs, in the majority of colors from our chart. For further personalization, you can add an engraving to some of our designs, as well as choose between two attachment types: magnets & fast-clamp or screws & c-clamp for added security.

Our CustomFit covers come in two parts (front and back) and we offer two different attachment systems:
- Fast-Clamp + Magnets: the front part is attached to the pylon of the prosthesis with our easy fast-clamp system, and the back part is attached to the front part using strong and secure magnets. This solution allows easy access to prosthetic components, so it is easy to clean them, without the need to fully take off the cover. We recommended this attachment for those with electronic knees, as it is easier to charge them.
- C-Clamp + Screws: a C-Clamp system securely attach the front part to the pylon, while the back part is also screwed to the front. We recommend this option for more active users, as it provides added security. This setup is also beneficial for those who frequently engage in water activities, as it helps prevent pressure from dislodging the back part of the cover. It’s also ideal for individuals who often wear boots that may exert pressure on the back of the cover, ensuring a reliable and secure fit.
Each CustomFit cover is designed specifically for every single user’s anatomy and prosthesis, with their unique prosthetic components, combination and alignment. Therefore, our covers may not fit if you change any of the prosthesis’ components, or alignment. Please, ensure the prosthesis and the alignment are completed before taking the photos and measurements when ordering a cover. If you’re changing any of your prosthetic components, or even the alignment of your prosthesis, we recommend you wait until you have your final set up and are comfortable with it before ordering your UNYQ cover.
If you have special requirements, please contact us to learn about the design options and how our covers could integrate with your particular prosthesis. Currently we provide covers for above the knee amputees, below the knee amputees and osso-integrated prosthesis, so contact your clinic, or our sales representatives, and we will be happy to inform and support you in your selection process.
CustomFit covers can be designed for transfemoral and transtibial prostheses, accommodating most prosthetic components on the market. Since each cover is tailored to the user's specific prosthesis, we ensure easy access to buttons, chargers, and other essential features, as well as adapting the cover to the shape of the prosthetic components.
We also work with osseointegrated prostheses, both above and below the knee. In this specific case, we require the prosthesis and leg to be scanned using structured light scanning technology to effectively adapt our covers.

QuickFit covers are the standard solution in our product range. Created in close collaboration with leading manufacturers, QuickFit is the perfect introduction to the UNYQ product family, ideal for first-time users and those looking for accessible and immediate protection for their prosthesis while enjoying a standard anatomy and classic design.
Currently, it is available for transfemoral prostheses in Firm material for selected knees. QuickFit covers are delivered within two weeks and can be stocked in the clinic, providing an excellent solution in a single appointment.
They come in two sizes (S, L) and do not require photos or measurements of the prosthesis; the prosthetist only needs to adjust the length of the cover to fit the individual user.
QuickFit covers are currently available in our classic U design, in five colors (black, gray, white, blue, and skin tones) with a satin finish, for some of the most commonly used prosthetic knees on the market. They come in two sizes (S, L), and the length can be easily adapted in the clinic. We are continuously adding more knee options to our QuickFit offerings; please check our website or catalogs for updates.
In our QuickFit covers, the inner part is specifically designed to perfectly fit the prosthetic knee, just attaching the front part of the cover to the prosthesis with a C-Clamp with screws to ensure a strong fixation. Additionally, we use neodymium magnets to secure the front and back of the cover, allowing for quick access to the prosthesis when needed.
No. Each QuickFit model is specifically designed for a particular prosthetic knee, so it is unlikely that they will fit a knee for which they were not designed.
Our QuickFit covers are standard products, and each model has been designed in a single material based on the characteristics of each knee to ensure a perfect fit and optimal performance, as they must fit precisely to each prosthetic leg with that knee. Therefore, they cannot be ordered in a different material than the one offered.
If you require a cover in a different material, you can choose from the CustomFit line.
Start with the customer – find out what they want and give it to them.
Our products can be ordered through our partner prosthetic clinics that are trained in our digital process and fitting. To order a cover, start by scheduling an appointment with your clinician. If you are looking for a customized cover from the CustomFit line, it will be necessary to take measurements of your prosthesis and sound leg, as well as pictures of both. If you are interested in a QuickFit cover, no measurements or pictures are necessary; your prosthetist will adapt the length to your prosthesis in the clinic.
If your clinic is still not on the list, just ask them to contact us. We’ll be happy to train them to order a UNYQ cover for you!.
Many health insurance companies around the world completely, or partly, reimburse prosthetic covers. As each country, region and insurance works in a different way, you can find out the price of the different UNYQ products in your clinic, as well as reimbursement options.
If you already have a CustomFit or a OneFit UNYQ cover and there have been no changes to your prosthetic or its components, you can easily reorder by providing your clinic with the serial number engraved inside your cover. Simply indicate your design choices, and we will replicate the same shape of your current cover in a new style!
However, if you have had any changes to your prosthetic or its components (including alignment), we strongly recommend that you first schedule an appointment with your clinician and retake the necessary pictures and measurements to ensure that everything remains the same. Even a slight change may result in an improper fit between the cover and your prosthesis!
If you want to reorder a QuickFit or a KneeFit cover, we don’t need to know the previous serial number—only your current prosthetic knee.
These are the average delivery times for our collections:
- CustomFit: 3 weeks from receiving the correct measurements/pictures
- OneFit: 3-4 weeks from receiving the correct scanning.
- QuickFit: 2 weeks from reception of the order. They can be stocked in clinics.
- KneeFit: 2 weeks from reception of the order. They can be stocked in clinics.
For the custom covers (CustomFit and OneFit), we send a preview of each personalized design to the prosthetist to check the shape and volume of the final product before the printing process. Any extra delay in confirming this preview could affect the final delivery time.

If your patient currently has a CustomFit or OneFit cover and there has been no change to the prosthetic, its components, or alignment, simply provide us with the serial number engraved inside their current cover along with their design choices. We will replicate the same shape and volume but with their new design. If any aspect of the prosthesis has changed, you will need to retake the measurements and pictures to ensure a proper fit for the new prosthetic combination.
If your patient wants to order a QuickFit or KneeFit cover, choose a knee and color, and once delivered, adapt the length at the clinic.
Our CustomFit covers require specific data from the patient to customize them for each anatomy and prosthetic component. You can obtain this data in several ways:
- Through our free UNYQ App (currently available for iOS, for clinics only), which guides you through the configuration process of the cover (designs, colors, etc.) and assists during the measuring process. You will easily take pictures and measurements through the app, and once you finish placing your order, all the data will be automatically sent to our system.
- Through our Online Shop (for clinics only), which allows you to select product specifics and upload photos taken separately using a camera or any smartphone, along with the measurements or 3D scanning files.
- If you are unable to use either of these methods, you can simply fill out our Order Form and send us the photos, measurements, or 3D scanning file by email at orders@unyq.com. You will find the Order Form and instructions for measuring/scanning in our Support & Resources Center.
Note: For osseointegrated patients, a scan is always required.
You will find all the recommendations and instructions in our guides, but here are some of the 3D scanners we recommend if you choose that option:
- Einstar Scanner
- Shining 3D Einscan Pro Series Hand Scanners
- Artec Structured Light Hand Scanners
- Creaform Hand Scanners
Our OneFit covers require a 3D scanning from the patient to customize them for each anatomy and prosthesis. Once you scan the prosthesis and sound leg, you can process your order in two ways:
- Through our Online Shop (for clinics only), which allows you to select product specifics and upload the scanning files. We recommend this option so you can have access later to your order details and status.
- If you are unable to use our Online shop, you can simply fill out our Order Form and send us the 3D scanning file by email at orders@unyq.com. You will find the Order Form and instructions for scanning in our Support & Resources Center.
Here are some of the 3D scanners we recommend:
- Einstar Scanner
- Shining 3D Einscan Pro Series Hand Scanners
- Artec Structured Light Hand Scanners
- Creaform Hand Scanners
Ordering our semi-custom QuickFit covers or KneeFit covers does not require taking measurements, pictures, or scanning the patient. You just need to choose the prosthetic knee of your patient and the selected color, and, in the case of QuickFit, pick the size that fits best with their anatomy, which you will adjust in length in the clinic.
Both products can be ordered through our online shop (for clinics only) or by directly sending our Order Form along with the information about the chosen knee, color, and size to our Customer Support team.
Start with the customer – find out what they want and give it to them.
